Products And Services
Coverage descriptions are summaries only and are provided solely for information purposes. Coverage is determined by the specific terms and conditions of the policies and bonds as issued. Trisura is not responsible for any manipulated, altered, revised or printed versions of the information provided within this website.
Broker Compensation
Trisura distributes its insurance products and services through contracted, independent, licensed insurance brokers. Trisura’s brokers usually earn a standard commission for every insurance policy that they sell. The range of these standard commissions are based on a percentage of the premium charged to the insured and vary by type of business (please click here to view the broker compensation table). There may be instances where individual commission charges vary from this table. In addition, Trisura has a Contingent Profit Sharing plan that may pay additional commission to brokers based on the growth and profitability of the business placed with Trisura. The amount of this additional commission is reported to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, the federal regulatory body that oversees Trisura’s activities.

PIPEDA sets out in law the rights of the consumer and details the duties and responsibilities of companies that collect information of a personal nature. Trisura complies with all aspects of PIPEDA.
